I’m curious to see what other hobbies people have so I’ll start off first.

Aquariums: I have one aquarium with some guppies, Cory catfish and a mystery snail (I’ve just gotten into aquariums).

Reading: I like to read a lot.

Playing Minecraft: I play a lot of Minecraft Java edition and I spend all of my time on there either playing lifesteal or doing cpvp (crystal pvp).

Scootering: I sometimes go to the skatepark and ride my scooter around in there (I’m not very good at it)

Breeding: I like to try to breed any pets that I have that are easy enough to breed.

Playing basketball: I sometimes play some basketball with my friends.

Coding: right now I’m trying to learn html and css to make websites but I can’t get myself to practice very much.

Currently keeping:
Brachymyrmex patagonicus

Solenopsis invicta

I read A LOT. Science, animals, Mystery, fantasy, steampunk, urban fantasy, Thrillers.
I like playing indie games on my Steam Deck. Not really into the big flashy games everyone plays, I love the more inventive and interesting new ideas.
Scuba Diving. Looking forward to my diving holiday in Italy ( Elba) in September. I hope I might even see a sun fish ( Mola mola).
I also keep cherry shrimp and betta fish.
I love swimming and Yoga and do both at least twice a week.
In winter, I love to go to the sauna.
Oh, and I love to unwind with painting Warhammer figures ( been doing it for 25 years now) while listening to audio books.
I am a nerd.

I love reading, birdwatching, native plant gardening, foraging, playing darts, and fermenting food and drinks. I also lift weights with a ghetto set I cobbled together in my back yard.

I like reading, playing ping-pong, ant gazing, going outside to collect insects, and building in Minecraft Java. In fact, I'm working on a gigantic underground forge/castle right now!

Reading. DEFINITELY. I devour books.

Gaming on my Steam Deck OLED. Among my favourites are Minecraft (Java, not Bedrock) Empires of the Undergrowth, Grounded, and Counterstrike 2.

Observing insects under my microscope. So much fun, and fascinating!

Gardening. That and Landscaping are a lot of fun.

Coding. I fiddle around with html, python, and, if it counts, scratch.

Aquarium design! I like to make Aquariums, and intend to eventually do some full-on aquascaping!

Terrarium/Vivarium creation. I have at least three current terrariums, complete with plants, isopods, centipedes, aphids, millipedes, some weird grub-like thingies, and others.

And, I guess you could call my current summer job a hobby of mine. I do Telecommunications, and intend to do it again when school ends next year!

Love birdwatching (love doing it within the fall season since the migration within my state is super varied!) I also like playing outside with friends (usually any sports, sometimes pickleball, but mainly soccer).

like looking for bugs and love spending time in nature.

I like to read occasionally (realistic-fiction mainly as well as non-fiction here and there. Don't read to much fiction but not that I don't like it either).

Like to solve problems in general (whatever the kind).

Sometimes random play online games here and there.

Fun to see what everyone else is into.

Reading, mostly about the history of Prussia, the German Empire, and World War 1. Anything military history related though. Also anything fantasy, especially Middle Earth is my jam! Watership Down is great too.

Rockhounding, I haven't done this nearly as much as I want to because every time I go out I end up anting instead but I try to do some from time to time if its near where I'm looking for ants hah!

Hiking, I've recently made some goals to summit many of the major peaks in Utah around the Wasatch Front and eventually trying to do the highest point King's Peak sometime next year after more training.

Any video games or board games that are highly strategic. I love Risk, Dominion, Through the Ages, Axis and Allies. Favorite video games are mostly old school RTS games, Broodwar, Starcraft 2, Warcraft 2 and 3, Age of Empires 2, and then others like the OG Doom, and Diablo 2.

Programming, I work as a front-end dev doing HTML, CSS, Javascript, React. Currently building my own web turn-based strategy game (think Risk meets Age of Empires).

I used to be quite musical but after 20 years of that I'm on a bit of hiatus, mostly singing. Classically trained, but was doing a bit more with guitar and stuff the last 5-6 years before my break.

Love to travel whenever I can. Internationally, National Parks, etc.

Watching some NBA during basketball season.

Those are the main ones. I'm a bit ADHD and have a bad habit of picking up too many hobbies haha!

That was probably too long, but maybe it'll resonate with someone. :)

There's no such thing as too much hobbies!  :D  You never know when you might need one. I'm envious of all the skills you have!

Oh yeah! I forgot about some other hobbies that I do!

Parkour: I’ve been getting into parkour recently and have been working on my wall runs and vaults.

Piano: I’ve been practicing playing the piano a bit (I call this a hobby because my parents don’t force me to play it :) ).

Lost too many drones attempting that. Smashing drones that are worth hundreds never felt good.

I used to have a pretty cheap drone ($20) and since it’s so cheap and it has a camera that would make a pretty good practice drone and then it wouldn’t matter too much if it got smashed.

EDIT: sorry for the mistake but the drone’s price was actually $50
