a lot of hours. I promise you can gain more money through chores than you can applying for a permit, waiting months for it to be approved, and than competing with Californian ant keepers for a sale.

a lot of hours. I promise you can gain more money through chores than you can applying for a permit, waiting months for it to be approved, and than competing with Californian ant keepers for a sale.
I second the time it takes to approve. It takes 9 weeks at the least.

Alright then, I guess I can try selling them to people in Nevada or other people who have the permits and doing extra chores
I have been running an ant shop in the little state of South Dakota for years, and people have joined formiculture just to pm me about purchasing ants. Don't underestimate the antkeepers in your region

Honestly you could probably only get like 10-30 dollars out of them. As previously mentioned they are extremely common throughout the southwest; in Phoenix I couldn't get away from them. Something less common and in higher demand may be worth it, like Myrmecocystus.
Please note this is a stressful process which takes many months and is not for the faint of heart.

I need to sell my Brachymyrmex patagonicus queens that I caught but I’m pretty sure that I’m not going to get very many sells in NV. So I’m thinking of getting a permit so I can sell them to California (I’ve noticed there are a lot of ant keepers there) but I don’t know what permit i need and how to get it. So any advice is appreciated.
I agree with the others, it's hard to get permits, but stateside ants might buy them https://www.statesideants.com/sellants
And many Carnivorous plants such as: Dionea muscipula (fly trap), Sarracenia x 'Fiona' ( American Pitcher plant), Nepenthese ventrata (Tropical Pitcher plant), and Pinguicula agnata x emarginata (Butterwort) (show off your plants here)
