Hello everyone I’m new here as you know and I started ant keeping last summer and I am currently keeping a Formica subsercia, solepnosis moleta and a couple of Lasius Niger colonies (sorry if I spelled some wrong) and I DO know a thing or two about ants but I am still pretty happy to have full access to the information about these wonderful insects over here

Currently keeping:
1x Formica subsericea, (used to be polygynous) 20+ workers
1x Lasius umbratus, (Workers accepted) 25 workers with host brood (I think they are dead now lol)
1x Crematogaster cerasi 4 workers with brood (still growing)
As you watch your ants march, remember: every journey begins with a single step (or queen)-not just towards you, but towards a future woven by diligence and shared dreams - Me

Hello OwlThatLikesAnts;
It’s always a pleasure to welcome a fellow Canadian to Formiculture. Keep us up to date on your colonies and let us know if you have any questions. Good luck.
