Maybe Ceratina? Need better measurements, though. Go to the full post

Hi experts, I'm not sure if this is an ant given the wings. It's about the same size as a turf ant, the wire in the picture is 0.5mm wide.

I put it in the freezer for a few min to stop it moving, hence the moisture on the back.

Thank you!

I believe that may be a wasp.

If you put it in the freezer and it stopped moving it may be dead. Never put insects in the freezer without intent to kill.

"God made..... all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds (including ants). And God saw that it was good. Genesis 1:25 NIV version

Formerly called AntsDakota, not to be confused with Ants_Dakota (hence the name change). You can still call me Adak.

Keeping:

Tetramorium immigrans

Formica cf. pallidefulva, cf. incerta, cf. subsericea, unidentified fusca group sp.

Formica cf. ravida, cf. obscuriventris
