Now, since I have been gifted a colony of Camponotus floridanus and I have a colony of Camponotus socius, I could finally see both queens side by side. Actually, despite being very different in queen sizes, and growth rate, the queens are very similar!
Note: These are not my pictures of Camponotus floridanus! They were taken by Solenopsiskeeper, in the early stages of this colony

Tapinoma sessile workers and brood
Small Vollenhovia emeryi colony in a test tube
Pogonomyrmex occidentalis in a vial setup
2 queen Crematogaster lineolata colony
Dying Camponotus castaneus queen
My 19 queen Monomorium minimum colony decided to move some of their brood and a queen into the Mini Hearth outworld.

yea, I thought it was man made at first, there were Pogonomyrmex swarming the whole areaHoly crap. They cleared all that area.Big Pogonomyrmex nest

Dorymyrmex bureni nest in the wild, but, is that really necessary? (These are my brothers pictures)(They uploaded weird, sorry.)

Lol. My ergs are nesting in an AA (arthopod antics) outworld because they won’t move into their formisquarium. I thought I was looking at my colony for a second

A battered looking Colobopsis macrocephala that I saw in my backyard. Qld, Australia.
That veteran must have been in an intense battle with another colony or prey. Wow. Still has those beautiful colors though.
