Bit of a Camponotus dumetorum photo dump.
An alate climbing an oak bush to take flight. It was fun to watch this "rare" species fly.
Two colonies having a bit of a scuffle over territory or foraging paths. Unfortunately I caught the tail end of this fight and this was about the extent of what I got to watch.
As I was hiking through I caught out of the corner of my eye a colony guarding one of it's entrances.
Of course a couple pictures of dealated queens that were roaming soon after their flights happened.
And lastly, this is one of the numerous majors I observed since they happened to be everywhere when I went out that day.

That's Harpegnathos venator, they're native to Southeast Asia.

Queens: Polyrhachis cf. robinsoni, Polyrhachis (Campomyrma) sp. (likely infertile)
