Found that one of my Camponotus us-ca02 larva happened to be pink. I’ve seen larvae change on coloration due to colored sugar water but never this much.

Some Iridomyrmex rubriceps that I saw on the weekend in Beerwah, Qld.
so that's what they are called! They popped up around my place and they are just as bad as meat ants. their chasing and biting have really started to annoy me. But they do have lovely looking queens

I know this doesn’t compete with all of your amazing photos but I’m pretty proud of this photo:

Hi there! I went on a 6 month or so hiatus, in part due, and in part cause of the death of my colonies.
However, I went back to the Sierras, and restarted my collection, which is now as follows:
Aphaenogaster uinta, Camponotus vicinus, Camponotus modoc, Formica cf. aserva, Formica cf. micropthalma, Formica cf. manni, Formica subpolita, Formica cf. subaenescens, Lasius americanus, Manica invidia, Pogonomyrmex salinus, Pogonomyrmex sp. 1, Solenopsis validiuscula, & Solenopsis sp. 3 (new Sierra variant).

It’s getting tough to keep up with the top notch quality here so I’m going to go for humor. C. pennsylvanicus are invincible, they’re always trying to get a head

The first two are quite cute!
I know these aren’t that great(Compared to previous posts), but these are some of my best pictures. Most pictures are from large ants, due to the fact that I use a macrolense attachment to devices.
Solenopsis invicta Queen with eggs
Camponotus floridanus Queen with her nanitics(And one brood boosted discolor)
Camponotus floridanus trophalaxis(Spelling bad?)
Camponotus floridanus colony few weeks after a natural diapause state
Odontomachus(Ruginodis) queen with workers and larvae

they're not the best compared to the other posts like you said but compared to my skills, that's awsome

Thanks! I still think the best one is there is the two workers feeding each other though.

Three new ant species that I found while on a bush walk yesterday in Dularcha N.P. in Landsborough, Qld. A Meranoplus hirsutus, Dolichoderus extensispinus and Leptomyrmex rufithorax.
Looks like the Leptomyrmex rufithorax is demonstrating a threat posture!

Yes, really hard to get a photo of them when they aren't doing that. They are very alert ants. They don't really stop moving either.
