I came across a colony of Ooceraea australis by accident yesterday. I was kneeling to take some photos of Pheidole ants and these ants swarmed me and stung me. Landsborough, Queensland.

A Papyrius nitida that I saw in Beerburrum, Queensland. I am finding these ants everywhere at the moment.

A colony of very pale Iridomyrmex that I found in Landsborough, Qld. No idea on the species. I like the look of them though, they really blend in to the sandy soil.
