Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest. -Proverbs 6: 6-8

Thanks! I’ve been interested in ants since I was a kid. Over the past 3 years I’ve been getting back into photography. Kinda nice that two of my hobbies mesh.
Two Novomessor Cockerelli fighting
Great shot! Could you pass on the info on the shot? F-stop, ISO, shutter speed, flash? Thanks!

Whoops I forgot lol, sorry I didn't see this sooner, I'm new to photography so most of the settings where manual but the F-stop was 5.6, ISO was 100, shutter speed was 1/60 and flash was 0, I was using a Sony A6000 with the lens it came with and a screw on macro lens
Screw on lens: Vivitar 40.5mm 0.43x Wide Angle Attachment Lens VIV-40.5W B&H (I just used the macro part of the wide angle lens)
The C. pennsylvanicus in my yard found another herd of aphids!

How about that! Without them what would these Camponotus sp. and little Ladybugs do?!?😆
I don’t know. I’ll try to look it up.
Guessing some kind of non-native sow thistle. Closer pictures of the leaves and flowers would help.
