Oh man, this drywood collection effort didn't turn out well
I was told about some firewood that was infested with drywood termites. The firewood was in the process of being hauled away for disposal BECAUSE it was infested. Unfortunately, I was really short on time and pretty much only had access to a hatchet (and a saw). Not even a good surface to chop wood on - all I had available was stone, dirt, or a rotting deck. None of this was ideal. Let's just say quickly trying to split firewood into small pieces that fit into a BigFatPhids container while getting LIVE drywoods did not turn out that well.
