Pogonomyrmex with a black stripe on gaster

I have this pogonomyrmex queen that is nesting with my other pogonomyrmex queens, but she acts different and has one thing that separates her from the rest.
Her striped black gaster, the stripe is located like right below the middle of her gaster, and she’s also much more nervous when I shine a light on her unlike the other queens.

Sounds like it could be a different variant of that species, or even another species altogether. Have you been able to get your Pogonomyrmex queens IDed?

pogonomyrmex anergismus perhaps? i think that species is known to be a social parasite in other Pogonomyrmex nests

I was starting to think that as well, because the more I examined them, the more I realized that there were little to no differences between the queens.

I know this is a thread from a while ago, but what species do you have that is founding together? (this may just be common knowledge and I'm just dumb lol). Also does the colony still have all of these queens?
