I observed what seemed to be Pm interacting with Solenopsis invicta fire ants.

Can anyone confirm this is a Solenopsis invicta fire ant queen? Sorry for the blurry pic as my camera run out of battery at the time. Length would be around 9-10 mm given the Pm major being around 3-4 mm.

What do you mean by "hybrid"? Is that something that ants can actually do? It sounds really cool!


Currently raising : C. Parius (2x), C. Vitiosus (2x), Carebara Diversa (1x), C. irratians (2x), M. brunnea (1x)
