Hi guys. Can you tell me what kind of ant this is, or at least what genus it is. Caught on the beach in Long Island, New York. May 25th, a hot, sunny day. I don't know how to attach a photo.AsdinAnts, thank you very much for the tip.

Looks like parasitic  Lasius.

yea, probably a parasitic lasius.
Possibly L. aphidicola?
