Hi guys I am back, my old account is KitsAntVa and I'm finally returning from when I used to keep ants in 2020-2022. Here are a few pics from all the things I’ve been catching lately. IMG_3408.jpeg IMG_9240.jpeg IMG_3392.jpeg IMG_2766.jpeg
And here is my old Pogonomyrmex colony IMG_3324.png
I hope everyone is doing good I'm excited for these nuptial flights to start. Also if anyone has any queens for sale in Va for cheap rn let me know please. I’m looking for some easy species like camponotus, tetramorium, lasius, etc for my friend. Also some personal queens too like crematogaster or pheidole.

I’m completely new to ant keeping and the forum, and wondering where to get ants in VA also, specifically near the Blacksburg area (near Virginia Tech). I know the GAN on antscanada’s site shows several ant keepers in Virginia but all are in northern and eastern VA. I don’t know if driving far to get them would be any better than shipping. https://www.blog.ant...-ants-for-sale/

It’s easy to mail colonies. I’ll have some available soon. Send me a PM if you’re interested. We can also help you learn how to find your own queens.

Oh it’s you! I’ve seen your account across many journals and posts, what happened to your original account?

Also, welcome back to the forum!

Currently keeping:

1x Formica subsericea, 20+ workers + a decently sized brood pile (35-40)

1x Crematogaster cerasi 3 workers with brood (been going all winter)
