Magnolia Park in Apopka is crawling with ants, I intend on going some time soon.

Ants are small creatures... but together... they can rule the world.

Magnolia Park in Apopka is crawling with ants, I intend on going some time soon.

It honestly doesn't look good, especially for our natives. There are much better places to go in the area for better ants.

Well we went i caught a few queens 
Solenopsis pergandi, Solenopsis caroliniensis, Crematogaster sp., 2 Dorynomyrmex sp., and 4 Invicta and Countless Brachymyrmex

Did you blacklight in the national forest or in town? I'm sure you could have gotten more.

Well we just went for a day after some rain, i flipped some logs but found no camponotus, and we cam back before dark so no time for blacklighting

probably not gonna see Camponotus alates again til next year, so you'll have to dig em up

Floridanus, sexguttatus, and inaequalis are still flying. socius has yet to fly
