About a month ago, I caught my very first Vulpinus arboricus queen. She is colored a beautiful orange with a grey gaster. She laid a few eggs for me, and as a semi-claustral queen, she loved elephant jerky.

Fast forward to now, and she has four nanitics! She has been upgraded from the doghouse formicarium to a proper warehouse outworld, where they are fed elephants and endangered rhinos. Those are pretty small so I can feed them live. I tried to give them a walrus but they just threw it in the trash pile. I HAD TO GO TO NORTHERN CANADA FOR THOSE! My dream is that hwen the colony matures, I can rent out the Jungle Cruise from Disney, and use the crashed plane as a nest. I think I'll buy a plane from Boeing and crash it. Some issues with this nesting plan is that:

- Jungle Cruise area is still too small.

-  The flames from the burning plane will not be warm enough to heat the colony, and will probably induce a hibernation. A safer and better way to heat them will be duct-taping a nuclear reactor to them.

- Disney property looks and is very cheap, and I am probably better off renting some Six Flags stuff. OH EVEN STUFF FROM THE COUNTRY FAIR!!!!!!!

- The nest has no lid, which just invites Pinkomyrmex floyderus to steal the nest and take over my wooly mammoth farm that I worked so hard to create. (Literally had to build a time machine and buy the world's best microscope so I could actually see the mammoths)

Any help regarding my V. arboricus colony will be very helpful! 01011001 01101111 01110101 00100000 01100001 01110010 01100101 00100000 01100001 01101110 00100000 01100001 01110000 01110010 01101001 01101100 00100000 01100110 01101111 01101111 01101100 00101110 00100000 01001001 01100110 00100000 01111001 01101111 01110101 00100000 01100001 01110010 01100101 00100000 01001100 01100001 01110011 01101001 01110101 01110011 00100000 01101110 01100101 01101111 01101110 01101001 01100111 01100101 01110010 00101100 00100000 01110100 01101000 01100001 01101110 00100000 01111001 01101111 01110101 00100000 01100001 01110010 01100101 00100000 01100001 00100000 01110011 01100101 01110000 01110100 01100101 01101101 01100010 01100101 01110010 00100000 01100110 01101111 01101111 01101100 00101110

Twas the night 'fore April Fools, when all through the forum, not a user was stirring, not even the people who knew it would bore them. The test tubes were set on their racks with care, but then The_Gaming-gate just had to appear. Everyone read their phone, and jumped out of bed, just to have images of "ants" eating elephants in their heads. A fox who lays eggs, and a dying elephant begs, PLEASE DON'T BRING ME ON THIS FORUM FOR APRIL FOOLS AGAIN!

Happy (Early) April Fools!

Thanks! A tip for catching these is using a stun grenade as a blacklight. It will also attract the infamous Policius arresticus ants, but their sting will cause you to black out, and you will awaken in a place called "jail." The workers will then farm you, giving you food and feeding off your sadness for the long life in prison you have ahea dof you.

Don’t worry if you get stung, you can bribe the majors to let you out by giving them about five terrariums filled with Paraponera. They are relatively easy to collect as they won’t defend themselves, and their sting isn’t very noticeable. The P. arresticus will switch to a parasitic lifestyle, and will grow their own colonies to farm.

Then I will bring my army of C.sp majors and tear them all down (then hop of to not get stung again) :D

Their formic acid has great precision and can be shot multiple times in a quick amount of time. Their bite also sends a small electrical signal which interferes with the neurons of the enemy ant which paralyzes it until the P. arresticus lets go. Camponotus majors are not suitable for this. You are better off raising a colony of Pinkomyrmex floyderus and using those.

Policicus arresticus usually lives in the nest of Policius militari who are often called "American exploding ants" as their repletes have an enlargened poison gland. When the repletes are stung or bitten, the poison gland ruptures and explodes, killing all ants in the radius. The majors are much stronger, and have a formic acid spray which condenses as it travels, but becomes a massive cloud of choking gas on contact.

I may stop my first wave but as your troops are fueling up again my weaver ants will pull them apart and crush your army.

After that I will bring my palifidila Formica that spray nuclear acid to finish it off.

You first post of this was moved to Sandbox, why did you make it again? I would suggest reading rule 4.

I figured it would be let up as an April Fools joke. I intended on deleting the main post after the holiday. There are plenty of similar topics allowed for April Fools, despite rule 4.

Both sides have points me and The_Gaming-gate are in violation of rule four but some April fools threads have been up and are still up since 2017.

That’s a lot of work, just find some bullet ants instead (Paraponera) their sting barely hurts and they are easy to collect, why can’t you use them instead. The P. arresticus guards will free you on sight of the prized Paraponera brood.
