We have 3 workers now, and a 4th one should enclose soon. Huge pile of brood. They are currently attached to a simple out world. However I plan to move them to their mini hearth soon.

So this colony is living in a mini hearth now, and doing very well. We even seem to have the start of our first replete!

when i first got into ants i found a bunch of these during a crazy flight after a severe thunderstorm.  we probably collected like 40 of em lol they were absolutely everywhere

The cotton ball at the front of the test tube. The PVA sponge was still intact when I moved them out of the test tube.
