I put together a quick video on why ant size matters when it comes to choice of formicaria and when checking the construction, etc.
For myself, I no longer keep small ants, with the exception of Liometopum and Prenolepis. I mean, if a Tetramorium queen just happened to land on me sure, I'd keep them again, but....
I was planning on putting another video together with some sample ant sizes, or ants next to each other for comparison, but it would be largely California-specific. Though come to think of it, I was going to also put in ideas for how to patch formicaria holes and once again mention my favorite outworld barrier.
ETA: Yeah okay an acorn Temnothorax nest would be really cool lol
