Just looking at it a Tapinoma spp. but not a Technomyrmex spp., which if it was you would be located in Florida or possibly a restricted area in
California, but since we are not given "location", one of the most fundamental bits of information needed in trying to delimit an ant, we are left guessing..... From my collecting both genera I rule out Technomyrmex due to the gaster which in Technomyrmex is overall larger in relationship to the head/thorax, than in Tapinoma. If there are more than one, kill one and smell it that may help
