Also make sure to get a heating cable and when you get it don't place it directly on the tube to prevent condensation.

My brother will be getting a heating cable soon and for now we have been using a heating mat

Make sure there is no condensation on the tube. and make sure it does not drop under 78 degrees.

The optimal temps are 79 and up

You can just feel it but make sure it does not get to hot. But if it gets a little to hot it should be fine as fire ants are known to survive in temps of 100 and up.
