Does anyone know where in Southern Nevada I should go to catch queen ants?
“You’ll survive” -wise man.
Currently keeping:
Brachymyrmex patagonicus
Solenopsis invicta
Crematogaster sp.
If you are near Mt. Charleston go up to the elevations where the pines start taking 157 to the town of Mt. Charleston and you will find Tapinoma schreiberi!! I went there to find colonies to get field data for my species description paper. They will be in the leaf litter.
It all depends on what you want to catch.

Right I forgot about that rule. My mind thought it was illegal to collect from private property. But that is also true.
