The new colony seems to have been a large satellite colony from the first colony.
Just connected them a few hr's ago and they are all friendly. No deaths.
I have been feeding them termites and wild boiled insects(ran them under hot water). Sadly since I wasn't out for 2 days and had left the lid up, about half the colony with the brood has escaped, but the queen is still here.
Well as long as she has workers (the main priority really) and some brood (if there isn’t brood, then try to brood boost them) then the workers will tend and take care of the brood, and the queen can begin laying eggs again.I have been feeding them termites and wild boiled insects(ran them under hot water). Sadly since I wasn't out for 2 days and had left the lid up, about half the colony with the brood has escaped, but the queen is still here.
Keeping:
3x - S. molesta (colonies and single queen) 1x - C. nearcticus (founding but no eggs) New!
1x - C. chromaiodes (colony) 1x - C. subbarbatus (founding)
1x - F. subsericea (founding) 1x - T. sessile (mega colony)
3x - P. imparis (colonies)
2x - L. neoniger (founding)
