1. Location of collection: Farm area I visited on a school field trip

2. Date of collection. 29/1/24
3. Habitat of collection. Sandy, humid, muddy, with grassy areas
4. Length. 1 inch/25.4 mm/2.54cm
5. Colorationt. Black, shiny, with perhaps a bit of brown? Unsure.
6. Distinguishing characteristics: 2 nodes

7. Anything else distinctive. High energy, with loose footing, falls over easily when the test-tube is turned if it isn't holding onto the cotton balls.

9. Nuptial flight time and date: In the early mornings
10 . Post the clearest pictures possible of the top, side, and face of the ant in question, and if possible, their nest and the habitat they were collected in.
