We need to wait one month for those pupae to eclose, so in total the complete founding time is 3 months, not very quick i see
Edit: i just noticed i started this journal one month ago, they DO grow fast, that's pretty interesting.

Guys since we are getting nanitics soon i need to ask you a VERY important question, and its this,What substrate should i use for their new nest??? I'm planning on using a 3 gallon fishtank for their new nest, sand? Dirt? Mud?

A dirt/sant mix would be best. Using mud would just drown the ants. Also, I really don’t think they need a whole fish tank, even if it is filled with dirt. The nanitics are perfectly fine just remaining in a test tube for now.

Use soil from the area where you gathered the queen. Bake it at a low temp in the oven for a while to kill mites and nematodes.

can't get a good pic because the worker hides in the dark but it had a soft tan head like a termite and was somewhat lethargic although his head is beginning to darken and he is now more active

Amazing! Once you hit around 6-10 workers, the colony should stabilize itself and grow smoothly given you feed them every other day. I suggest looking into getting mealworms soon, as you'll need to pre-kill them and feed the colony in gradually increasing quantities and intervals as they grow more and more.

Young ant keeper with a decent amount of knowledge on local ant species.

YouTube: https://m.youtube.co...uKsahGliSH7EqOQ (It's pretty dead. Might upload again soon, don't expect my voice to sound the same though.)

Currently kept ant species, favorites have a star in front of their names (NOT in alphabetical order, also may be outdated sometimes): Camponotus irritans inferior, Ooceraea biroi, Pheidole parva, Nylanderia sp., Paraparatrechina tapinomoides, Platythyrea sp., Anochetus sp., Colobopsis sp. (cylindrica group), Crematogaster ferrarii, Polyrhachis (Myrma) cf. pruinosa, Polyrhachis (Cyrtomyrma) laevissima, Tapinoma sp. (formerly Zatapinoma)

Death count: Probably over a hundred individual queens and colonies by now. I cannot recall whatsoever.

Congrats on the nanitics! She probably enclosed from her cocoon recently which is why she has light coloring. A fun fact, all worker ants are female, so only males should really be referred to as “he.” Not too important to the actual ants, though. Feed them some insects and tell us how it goes!

Now we have 3 workers,

Great! They’ll need a sugar source first (such as honey or sugar water. Fruits could work.) Make sure you place honey on a paper towel or foil so it doesn’t stick to the ground. If honey drops are too large ants could letdown in them. Sugar water is offered with tubes, make sure the ants do not nest in the sugar water tube or they could get an infection. Once they have sugar feed them protein regularly, any dead insect would work, make sure to boil or freeze them first to remove parasites.
