I can't find any sellers in CA.

Where in the world are you looking? CA has the most sellers of any other state in the country on Ants Canada's GAN.

There's plenty listed in the Market Place subforum here as well.

Agreed; and look around after some good rain near trees. Ants are coming out early In Cal I believe, and you MIGHT find camponotus near trees.

Did you drive to get them from Ant Vault?  You aren't making any sense.

I can't find any sellers in CA.

We have quite a variety of reputable vendors here in CA with Camponotus species available currently. dspdrew is one of them, and websites from other states with actual permits include AntopiaUSA and Stateside Ants. Would definitely recommend purchasing from these people; I've bought from them before in good condition and at fairly reasonable prices.

No I got them from their website.

Dealing with money and shipping is typically done via PM here in the forum, so it shouldn't be very different from what you're already dealing with on a website. Doesn't mean it's any less secure either, since sites like eBay and certain ant websites also have plenty of opportunities for scams.

Also, there are likely to be vendors within 3 hours of your location, given you can post your location in your profile or upload a "Looking For" post in the Market Place subforum.

I took her out of hibernation today because it is getting really warm in my area. I gave her honey and a cricket leg and she took them both.
