post a picture of her please, because ant vault can't tell the difference between an ant and a termite….
edit: that’s awkward….

Hey GoCamponotus, this is the founder of Ant Vault. Can you tell me your order number and when you placed the order? We have not had C. Sansabeanus up on the site for months. In fact, we haven't had any camponotus species up other than C. fragilis, which had workers before we sold it.

Also, if you really did receive it from Ant Vault, we are more than happy to replace your queen for you for free. Just confirm your order number and we will be in touch with you via your email on your order form.

I'd advise just posting the order confirmation email here on your journal.

There are 0 eggs so should I just lose hope?

just try to hibernate her. If she comes back in April with no eggs, then you might just have to lose hope.

Thanks GoCamponotus. Founder of Ant Vault again, I blanked for a sec and forgot those ants were still available on that website, they will be shut off now. We usually throw away all duds, so I am sure yours was a late bloomer with pupae. Maybe she ate it in the trip to you?

Nevertheless, we can provide you a free replacement and you can keep your C. sansabeanus. We have some California Harvester Ants with workers available, would you prefer that as your replacement?

Just give us the thumbs up and we will send the tracking to your email and in this thread.

Thanks.

Yea that would be good. But I will still update on the C.sansa queen and hope she isn't infertile. I also will make a diff journal for the pogonomyrmex.

I can't find any sellers in CA.

Where in the world are you looking? CA has the most sellers of any other state in the country on Ants Canada's GAN.

There's plenty listed in the Market Place subforum here as well.
