Possible queen in Philadelphia area

Found this ant in my parent’s backyard around 5pm. It’s reddish brown with a stripe on its gaster. I think I see wing scars but it could be wishful thinking because I’m not that experienced. It’s about 8mm long. Is this a queen and what species?

Based on your description, I believe that it is a L. umbratus de-alate. L. claviger are a little more reddish, and sleek like.

Keeping:

3x - S. molesta (colonies and single queen) 1x - C. nearcticus (founding but no eggs) (y) New!

1x - C. chromaiodes (colony) 1x - C. subbarbatus (founding)

1x - F. subsericea (founding) 1x - T. sessile (mega colony)

3x - P. imparis (colonies)

2x - L. neoniger (founding)

Although it is a necropost, it is helpful to peoples' future researching and contributes to knowledge about certain species. Now this thread will pop up if someone uses the search function for "umbratus" or "Lasius umbratus," which is better than it never popping up at all.
