Writing up a little info sheet on P. imparis and struggling to find a clear distinction between these two roles as they're both a means of food storage.
From my understanding cropulents also store fat? Solely store fat? I've seen P. imparis store both fats and sugars.

It's also reversible and usually a temporary role but it doesn't sound like that's the key-descriptor of cropulents.
