I was just contacted by one of the UK zoo vets.
There is a zoo in the UK (I do not have any further details yet) who need close down their leafcutter colony exhibit.
Effectively killing the colony.
Now there is a question to the UK based enthusiasts- is anyone interested in adopting the queen?
They would dig out the queen and her core fungus (you do not have to adopt the whole huge exhibit!) if someone is interested.
Please let me know if anyone is interested, and then I will link you guys up and you can discuss all the details with each other.
I have already written back to the zoo vet for further details, so bear with me.
I just thought I already put this out, maybe there is an ant Christmas wonder happening and the colony is saved and an ant enthusiast is very happy.
