Pogonomyrmex subdentatus! I love them, and you love them. If you don't you should, there's a whole lot to love about them. Low care, small colonies, granivorous, passive, small but not too small, fast growing, pretty colors. Just amazing little guys, if anyone knows what P. huachucanus are like they're sort of like those. Just quaint. A few weeks ago I dug up a dozen queens or so, plopped them on top a heat mat and now they have some eggs soon to be larvae. I'll post updates as they go along, I'm keeping these dudes until they die and then some.
