Shameless plug for my book series featuring a winged alate (“princess”), an isopod, and a jumping spider. C’mon it’s fun and chock full of bug nerdiness … for KIDS.
Kids learn obscure and intriguing ant facts while touring an ant nest and learning more about the “ghosts” who have moved in….
Spoiler alert: ghosts are based on Megalomyrmex symmetochus.
Book 3 is out! Kindle Unlimited read for free!
https://www.amazon.c.../dp/B0CL648J2H/
By the way, my goal is to help kids learn about all sorts of small insects and others. Ants have been an interest of mine for ages, and sharing just how cool they are is my goal!

Excellent! My son is now a perfect age to start this series, plus he’s a big reader. I’ll get him going on book one this week!

Looks good. I might get this even though I'm not a child.

TBH I’m totally in the red and I’m writing because I love bugs and I love seeing kids learning and having fun! And we need future adults who appreciate bugs and the natural world.
