Hey everyone, it's an exciting day! I've finally got the 'Antcam' livestream up and running. 🎉
Today, we'll be testing it out together and later, I'll be moving the entire setup to the attic.
Once that's done, it'll automatically go live every day when there's daylight. ☀️
This Lasius Niger ant colony has been accustomed to daytime lighting ever since I caught the Gyne (queen) on July 7, 2023.
Both the test tube nest setup and the small feeder outworld are placed in a spot where they receive indirect daylight, never direct sunlight, of course. 😎
