1. Location (on a map) of collection: southwest Denver
2. Date of collection: June or July. Can’t remember
3. Habitat of collection: urban
4. Length (from head to gaster): Queen 9mm nanitics 5mm
5. Color, hue, pattern and texture: Queen amber head and thorax black/dark gaster. Nanitics are very dark
6. Distinguishing characteristics: na
7. Distinguishing behavior: na
8. Nest description: na
9. Nuptial flight time and date: caught midday

Worth mentioning that the pupae form cocoons. Last year I had another ant IDd as F pallidefulva but it had cocoonless pupae

I've seen Formica colonies with cocoonless and cocoon pupae I don't think it matters.
