It's been unusually rainy in my part of Idaho this year and last week while hiking in the foothills I had the fortune to witness termite mating flights for the first time in a long time.

That's great, has Idaho had a large snowfall this year?

I'm not sure what the actual numbers are, but anecdotally I'd say about average for the past few years in my area. I'm also not sure if it's actually been unusually wet this spring but it certainly feels like it.

We are having pretty severe drought out east, so I guess the rain has to go somewhere…
