Myrmica can't be IDed past genus without macro photos or a microscope in most cases. To confirm that this is M. americana we would need to see how sharply the base of the scape is angled, the shape of the flange at the base of the scape (in americana it should have a sort of cupped shape), and if the underside of the postpetiole is flat. In general appearance though, this doesn't really strike me as americana.

Okay, more importantly, is this Myrmica, and if yes I have heard they are Semi Claustral, is this generally true for Myrmica?
