I have 2 tubes and 3 Lasius Flavus queens. Should I take 2 of them, 1 for each tube or in 1 tube 1 queen and in another one 2 queens?

I don’t know much about flavus, but I think they can found their colonies with multiple queens. They might fight later on when there are a lot of workers, but with two queens they will grow faster in the beginning. I think you should do 1 tube and 1 queen and another tube with the 2 queens.

The answer is clear.

1. Release one

2. Found a 2 queen colony

Founding a 2 queen colony = more nanitics in the beginning. Worst case scenario one queen is culled later on.

I left 1 in 1 tube and 2 others in another. Those 2 already laid eggs. If both colonies thrive, I'll just have 2 lasius flavus colonies. Think their workers color is nice
