In the island part of Denmark I haven't seen a lot of different ants except Lasius

Week ago I saw some Lasius queens, I thought Lasius Niger. They're on the picture in the test tube.

Now today I again saw a lot of queens but those I caught look a bit different. The body is darker. They're on the 3 pictures after

Are those I caught and new ones the same or any other interesting Lasius?

I think some might be Lasius Niger and others Flavus.

I think. I'm not too familiar with European ants but they are similar to what we have here in the states.

I found also the third one. Smaller bodies with yellow underneath.

Ok, so I don't need to drop them any workers, they are not umbratus?

I just also took some yellow workers today that also had flight, thought they are Umbratus, forgot that flavus are also yellow

I will keep 2 colonies of the light ones, take 1 black one and 1 flavus. Will see what's going to happen to them.

I'm a little worried that one can die, but I don't want to make too many if they all make it and then put some outside

All are Lasius niger group. Probably just L. niger, but would need macro pics showing scape and clypeus hairs to confirm species.
