1. Location of collection: Massachusetts
2. Date of collection: June 25, 2023
3. Habitat of collection: Suburban
4. Length: 5-6
5. Color: Redish-brown
6. Distinguishing characteristics: One petiole node, very active
I believe this is possibly a species of parasitic lasius, but I’m not sure.

Definitely lasius but i don't know if it is parasitic or not.

It is Lasius Aphidicola. Maybe Speculiventris but it looks pretty dark to be that.
