Honey Pot Ant Nuptial Flights

What are the conditions for honey pot queens to have their nuptial flights? I want to know because there is a colony of M.wheeleri at a spot I go to catch queens at.

Ok, do they also need heat for flights to happen? Also, what months do they fly?
