This is my slowest growing colony.

They are already a couple of years old, however, as you can see, compared to my other colonies, they are not as big and not as productive.

In nature, the species is more cryptic and they only form small colonies of around 200 workers.

So I do not expect that they will outgrow their XL minihearth.

Here is the colony today, sitting in top of the water tower.

They appear to be healthy, they have brood, they take food, but their queen is still lean and not physiogastric like my other Camponotus queen.
