Help ID Camponotus in Eastern MA

Hello,

I am looking to see if what species of Camponotus is this ant. I am also not sure if it is a major or queen Camponotus.

It was collected in Mendon MA on June 8th 2023. The ant was under a dug out stup next to my driveway. There seemed to be a nest of similar ants under the stump in the area.

The ant is about 10mm long. It has hair on the body especially on the gaster. A black head, burgundy thorax, and a black gaster with hairs that appears yellow in the light.

That's ok, I did find a collection of similar looking ants further down my fence line under a recently placed logs. There was not any signs of nests, just ants the scattered when moved. There were four ants I was wondering if they were queens. I will post each separately to this post.

Those other ants are Camponotus minors, I don't know how to id the species, however.. we don't have those down here in Florida
