Hello,

I am looking to see if what species of ant this is. I am also not sure if it is a major or queen. Just looked really unique compared to the other ants I saw. It had a black head and a yellow thorax and yellow gaster with strips. It is about 10 to 12 mm long.

It was collected in Mendon MA on June 8th 2023. The ant was walking around on my driveway. There are woods to one side of the driveway and my yard on the other. I did not see any other ants that looked like this.
