Recieved a apheanogaster colony with ~40 workers today, and this will be a journal documenting their growth

Very nice! These guys love their protein. Make sure to give them some protein every day or two. They also love seeds and nuts (I feed mine some cashews or almonds every once in awhile). I also give them some thawed frozen peas (so uhh... regular peas...), just one or two. I think these guys are really fun, looking forward to keeping up with reading your journal!

The colony above died, recieved a new 70 worker colony, this colony is eating 3 meal worms, and swarming sugar water as we speak 35ish workers in outworld.

The amount of brood this colony has is crazy, they will fill up a mini hearth in probably 2 weeks, gonna order a 4x4 for them.
