Hello again, everyone. I'm guessing this a pavement ant? 

 

1. Location (on a map) of collection: Under a rock on dirt near, next to parking lot
2. Date of collection: 6/6/23
3. Habitat of collection: Under a rock
4. Length (from head to gaster): 7
5. Color, hue, pattern and texture: Black
6. Distinguishing characteristics: N/A
7. Distinguishing behavior: None
8. Nest description:  N/A

9. Nuptial flight time and date: N/A

I doubt T. immigrans since I can't see a hint of the characteristic striate-rugose sculpture. We nee pictures in brighter light, with no glass interference, and straight-on dorsal view to confirm yeah or nay.
