This is so awesome.
Sounds really exciting.
Sadly you are on the wrong continent....
I hope all goes well and there are many new prospective ant keepers!
Carry the torch.
Good luck!
The Ant Day at the American Museum of Science and Energy was very successful. There was a low turnout but this is a small museum in Oakridge, Tennessee, which only gets on average 200 people on the weekends. The weather that day was very cool and rainy and that may have contributed to a low turnout along with high school graduations etc. Anywho, those who attended seemed to have very much enjoyed the activities and particularly the feedback I got on the powerpoint presentation I prepared and gave was very positive.
Now we plan a second event including Hymenoptera in general: honeybees, native pollinators and ants.
