got her inside the building i work, put her on a paper cup in till i got home, she was very thirsty and looked happy to be in her new tube home lol.

my guess is some sort of Camponotus queen.

1. Location: mid Mo 
2. Date of collection: 5-9-23
3. Habitat of collection: inside building i work in but area us wooded and farmland.
4. Length (from head to gaster):  10mm i believe,
5. Color, hue, pattern and texture: 
6. Distinguishing characteristics: mostly black.
7. Distinguishing behavior:
