I have 3 crematogaster and 7 pheidole(?) queens caught during nuptial flights a few months ago available for local pick up in Temecula, CA.

These queens are all in various stages of founding with eggs and larvae.

I am only asking for $10 for each of the crematogaster queens so I can replenish my supply of test tubes and cotton.

The pheidole queens are free since they usually have trouble establishing, tho a buck or two would help as well.

Post on this thread with what you want and your location (to make sure you are local) if you want any of them and I will PM you additional information.

First come first serve!

No shipping/delivery, 100 mile radius limit.

This shop probably still isn't running because the last activity was in 2017

Use this guide on how to catch queens to answer your question:
https://www.formicul...tch-queen-ants/

Most queens here in California will fly in the desert the day after rain in june-august. In the spring, they will fly in mountains on a hotter day (no rain needed).

There are also plenty of reasonably priced queens in the general marketplace tab.

Interested buying in ants? Feel free to check out my shop

Feel free to read my journals, like this one.

Wishlist:

Atta sp (wish they were in CA), Crematogaster cerasi, Most Pheidole species
