I think I might have put a Lasius neoniger and Lasius claviger queen together. I'm not sure if it is the lighting, but one appears to be a tiny bit smaller and might have different color legs.

I think I might have put a Lasius neoniger and Lasius claviger queen together. I'm not sure if it is the lighting, but one appears to be a tiny bit smaller and might have different color legs.

Here they are, I fed them some honey and one queen sucked it all up. I have noticed one queen hold herself up higher than the other and seems more dominant. My guess is that she will be the queen that the workers will choose to keep.
