Hey everyone. So once again I'm back with another ID request. I found this queen under a rotting log.. she's about 7mm long. I think it's a needle ant queen, but I've been wrong before. She was found on long Island, NY. Here's the pictures:

Thanks in advance everyone.

Crap. I thought it was a queen. My bad. Still a cool looking insect.
So you know if anyone keeps these kind of wasps, and if so, how??

Be thankful you don’t have needle ants.

It is a relatively destructive invasive species from China.

Oh. Yeah. But as long as they are contained properly, they should be fine.
