Just thought I would brag a bit with the cool new book I got today.
It was written by one of the staff members of the lab where I work and published by my company.
This is not really meant as advertising, since it will be very hard to get outside Germany.
I have always loved anatomy classes at university and was teaching anatomy (mainly vertebrates, though!) for several years during my postgraduate degrees.
Now this is my first full-colour insect pathology book and it is full of interesting anatomical and histological pictures. I think it is exciting.
And they actually say in the blurb for this book that one could extrapolate some of the anatomical features to other insects.
As a new ant keeper, this book is now twice as interesting.
